The South Asian Progressive Action Collective presents Voices of Resistance, its ninth annual politically conscious arts showcase. This year's theme, Fair & Lovely, is a subversive take on the popular skin lightening cream that evokes the complexities of identity, beauty, image, privilege, acceptance, and compassion in our society. Hosted by theater artist and comedian Fawzia Mirza, this unique event includes music, spoken word, visual art, and much more. Donations for Pakistan flood relief will also be collected.
