In this training, you'll learn

The various formats for audio books, novels, articles, journals, newspapers, history and text books. We’ll even spend some time talking about eLearning, short-form and long-form narration. You will read from the various formats and explore how some are driven by character, information and instruction. Learn the levels of acting that are required for each formats



Learn what preparation is involved? Reading the script/book before recording and how to prepare.

If you’re reading a cook book, are you using your ‘taste’ expressions? Are you visual, in your reading? Are you living inside the story? Relating to your audience. Interpretation Etc.

Experimenting with physicality. When reading Novels, for example, you are doing 5 to 16 different characters. Are you sitting down? Are you acting out? What works within the confines of a studio? Working with the recording engineer who is hearing your body noise. Microphone levels and the stress on your voice. The long hours of recording, while sustaining vocal presence from beginning to end.
