Vive la DiF’RANCE December 12, 2008

Art of Time Ensemble continues its Tenth Anniversary Season with Vive la DiF’RANCE, a sparkling program of dance and music celebrating all things French. Special guests include: iconic singer-songwriter Martin Tielli performing legendary songs of Jacques Brel; acclaimed cellist Yegor Dyachkov [PRONOUNCE: dee-ATCH-kof] with pianist and Art of Time’s Artistic Director Andrew Burashko performing Debussy's Sonata for Cello and Piano; and award-winning dancer Peggy Baker performing a “duet” with Burashko to the music of César Franck. For the finale, Art of Time violinist Stephen Sitarski and Burashko join top clarinetist James Campbell and Dyachkov to perform Olivier Messiaen's [PRONOUNCE: mess-SEE-an] monumental, Quartet for the End of Time.
