Enter the museum experience through the redesigned Welcome Center. The museum complex is comprised of the Intrepid, an Essex class aircraft carrier that houses a world class collection of period aircraft, artifacts and life stories of the brave men who served on her, the Growler, an original Darter class, nuclear deterrent submarine and Concorde, the fastest commercial airliner ever built. Your admission also includes the Theater, Exploreium (children's interactive zone) and the newly opened Anchor Chain Room all located on the Intrepid. In addition you can partake in a real flight experience by taking a ride inside our Max Flight simulators, XD Theater or the Evolution, a 20 seat passenger thrill ride.
