Vintage Theatre presents the Regional Premiere of

Murderers

Written by Jeffrey Hatcher
Directed by Bernie Cardell

“As delightful a group of killers as one is likely to encounter.” —TheatreMania.com.

(Denver, CO) - Gerald, Lucy, and Minka are all murderers, residents of the Riddle Key Retirement Community in Florida. That they committed murder is not in question, but as for why….

In this dark comedy, three very different people have something in common – murder. Gerald marries his girlfriend's mom, Minka is out to avenge wrongdoing and Lucy tries to protect her foolish husband from the heat of an old flame. Set in the aptly-named Riddle Key Retirement Community, each perpetrator reveals a tale of macabre twists and ironic turns that is surprisingly upbeat – even whimsical. The cast includes Robert Kramer, fresh from his role in 12 Angry Men, as Gerald, Mari Geasair returns from Seattle to take the role of Minka and Betsy Grisard rounds out the trio as Lucy.

Vintage Theatre opens Jeffrey Hatcher’s “Murderers” on Friday, October 3 and plays Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 2:30 p.m. through November 2 at Vintage Theatre, 2119 E 17th Ave in Denver. Tickets are $22 at the door, $17 in advance and available by calling 303-839-1361 or online at www.vintagetheatre.com.
