Somerville Arts Council and BigCat Productions present an ArtsUnion event:

Vidfest: A High Performance and Music Festival



VidFest will take over the Union Square plaza with a blitz of art, music, and unusual imagery. The event will feature performances and big screen video projections from Baltimore indie rockers and multimedia artists, Video Hippos; Providence comedy-pop duo, the Awesome Brothers; and Somerville locals, Secret Sea. Between bands, visitors are invited to view a one-night only exhibition of video installations by nationally recognized artists. Animations, music videos, and short narratives will focus on the crossbreeding of independent music and performance in contemporary video. VidFest promises a multi-media spectacle of the best independent music and video.
