Kadampa Meditation Center France: In February 2007, the NKT acquired the magnificent Chateau de Segrais, an 18th century castle, just outside the city of Le Mans. This beautiful and blessed environment induces peace in the mind of everyone who visits it.

Teachers: Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is the Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union. He is the author of 20 highly acclaimed books on Buddhism and has established over 1000 Buddhist Centres around the world. Venerable Geshe-la embodies the peace and joy that comes from practising Buddha’s teachings and he teaches how to follow the spiritual path in a way perfectly suited to the modern world. We are very fortunate to meet with and receive unique teachings from this exceptional spiritual teacher.
Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition. His presentation of Buddhism is extraordinarily clear, and he shows the immense enjoyment of leading a pure, simple spiritual life. Gen-la will lead reviews of Venerable Geshe-la’s teachings.
Gen Kelsang Eupamé is the National Spiritual Director of France and the Resident Teacher of the Kadampa Meditation Centre France. He will lead the meditations during this Festival and also the post-festival retreat at KMC France.

Venue: The Festival will be held at the Disney® Village, next to Disneyland® Resort Paris Theme Park. This will be a very special opportunity for families to enjoy the Festival in a different way and for everyone to see beyond the ordinary.

Saturday November 1st, Venerable Geshe Kelsang will grant the empowerment of Prajnaparamita, a special opportunity to make a strong connection with this Buddha and to receive her blessings. This is the first time Venerable Geshe Kelsang will grant this empowerment in the west.
He will then give a four-day commentary to the Great Mother Prajnaparamita practice, which is a powerful method for developing great compassion and for opening the wisdom eye that sees the ultimate nature or emptiness of all phenomena.
