You're cordially invited to an exciting new program at this year's AAMA Connect conference - the VC-Entrepreneur Connection, which matches leading VC firms with select startup companies. Patterned loosely after the "speed dating" concept, investors and entrepreneurs meet each other in a series of private one-on-one meetings. Prior to the conference, a screening committee matches you with VCs based on your investment profile. At the conference, you deliver an abbreviated version of your investor pitch. The investor listens, asks questions, and provides feedback, suggestions, and referrals. At the appointed time, you move to your next pre-arranged meeting and repeat the process. In addition, you will also have opportunities for informal networking with VCs. You may also give a brief introduction to the entire group.
