An evening with Finnish singing sensations Värttinä! Celebrating the release of their tenth studio album Miero on Peter Gabriel’s Real World label, Värttinä has been riding high in the “world music” arena for sixteen of their twenty three years as a group. The latest album Miero has received rave reviews throughout the world, and charted in both English and European Top 10 lists. Previous albums have also topped world music charts on both sides of the Atlantic.Värttinä has received additional notoriety as the co-composers of The Lord of the Rings stage adaptation which played in Toronto in 2006 and will premiere in London in May/June 2007.
