Vancouver International Improv Festival June 6, 2006

The 7th annual offering from the Vancouver International Improv Festival will feature groups from around North America including some outstanding ones from our own city! Come and see a wide variety of companies and performers explore the wildly popular and highly entertaining form of theatre!

We're proud to announce that this year the festival will not only be an outstanding showcase of Improv companies from all over but we'll also include a star studded festival ensemble made of improvisers from top companies from around the world. This ensemble will then be working together for the full week of the festival with top instructors from Canada and the States to develop exciting new work specifically for our festival.

The festival will also have a great selection of excellent workshops for improvisers and the general public. We'll also be opening the door for a public disscussion forum about improv.

The 7th annual festival will be held at the Performance Works Theatre on Granville Island June 6th to 10th 2006.
