This is an opportunity to shop for a gift, socialize, and/or make a valentine just in time for Valentine's Day.

This will be the third annual Valentine Making Party, but the first to showcase local jewelry and crafts. These parties have been very inspiring and ended in Valentine's with feathered wings, sculpture valentines, and cards with pencil eraser nipples and real garters sewn on! Don't worry if crafting is alien to you... Just hang out and remember what making art was about in grade school when it was making macaroni necklaces for Mom and thingamobobs for Dad. It really IS the thought that counts....and we'll help you NOT make a lame ass card!

We will supply you with pink/red craft paper, felt, doillies, erotic illustrations, collage materials, pipe cleaners, glitter, glue, envelopes, and whatever other frou frou stuff we can find. This event will be the most creative if people come prepared with pictures and scraps to share with others. The whole idea is to make something heart felt and personal, not manufactured by Hallmark.

While your crafty hands are at work, and as you browse the jewelry tables there will be trays of hors d'oeuvres for your satisfaction and a cash bar. Please bring cash and a checkbook if you're looking to buy gifts because not all of the artists present will be able to take credit cards.
