USGBC Picnic & Emerging Green Builders Natural Talent Design Competition June 30, 2007

Please join us for a picnic lunch and the presentation of awards to
three young design teams competing in the US Green Building Council
Emerging Green Builders Natural Talent Design Competition. This year's
challenge was to design an ecologically sound and educationally
fascinating pavilion for the beach at Virginia Key Beach Park. Chapter
members and friends are invited to enjoy a sneak peak at the park, which
will be opened to the public next year, and to enjoy a picnic lunch
prior to the award presentation and panel discussion by the judges.
Bring your family. Bring your friends. The event is free and open to the
public - but please RSVP so we can bring enough food and inform you of
cancellation in the event of rain.

Competition Entries on display in the Carousel Building beginning at
11am.
Picnic lunch 12:00.
Awards Presentation and Panel Discussion: 2:30 - 4:00 PM.

Location Virginia Key Beach Park. (Across from Seaquarium, just before
the bridge to Key Biscayne...do not turn at the sewage treatment plant
road...this is not at the wind surfing beach park but the historic beach
park.)
