User-lab welcome you to our labs at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design to discuss your projects and areas of interest. Mince pies optional.

Following on from our web site usability drop-in clinic last month, User-lab are opening doors to visitors interested in discussing usability, haptics, interaction design, information architecture, user experience or other areas of user-centred design. This is a chance to informally talk through aspects of your work, benefiting from our experience of researching user behaviour and designing specifically with the user in mind.

You'll have the opportunity to talk to our designers, developers and researchers, and see demonstrations of technologies such as Techsmith Morae remote observation, haptic devices, 3D scanning and multi-touch interfaces.

We regularly work with clients and collaborators both internally, within Birmingham City University, and externally and would also be happy to discuss a relationship on this basis.

Parking is available via arrangement by telephone 0121 3317915 - call a couple of days before if possible. Otherwise, please use the map link provided above and call 0121 3317915 when you're close - we'll be happy to come and find you if you're lost!
