The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band's Langley Winds will span more than 250 years of musical tradition when they appear at the Williamsburg Library Theatre for a free performance Monday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. While the concert is free, tickets are available to guarantee admission. Up to four free tickets per person can be picked up beginning June 4 at the Program Services desk in the Williamsburg Library, 515 Scotland Street. Tickets cannot be reserved over the phone. Those not holding tickets may be seated if space is available at curtain time.

The quintet's repertoire includes a wide variety of chamber works as well as popular and patriotic pieces.

The quintet's versatility stems from their diverse educational backgrounds and professional experiences. They hold degrees from music schools all over the country including West Virginia University, North Carolina School of the Arts, Queen's College in New York City, Butler University, the University of Michigan, Baylor University and the University of New Mexico. Members have performed with such orchestras as the Macon Symphony, St. Louis Philharmonic, Waco Symphony, Virginia Symphony, Southwest Symphony Orchestra, West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Brockton Symphony, Broadway Chamber Orchestra, Santa Ana Symphony and the Aspen Music Festival.
