Wombats
As one of Liverpool's hottest young bands, the Wombats' blend of polished guitar riffs and harmonies has earned them a reputation for producing catchy rock and pop melodies. Influences include The Beach Boys, Nick Drake and the Kraftwerk.

Wild Beasts
Lead singer of the Leeds-based foursome, Hayden Thorpe, has created an unmistakable identity for the band thanks to his falsetto vocals which effortlessly soar over choppy guitars. Their debut single Brave Bulging Bouyant Clairvoyants is a dance tune that won them plaudits from Steve Lamacq - and Domino Records (home to the likes of Artic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Four Tet) have signed them.

The Teenagers
The Teenagers are Parisians now based in London - and have been heralded as the saviours of French indie.
Signed to Merok (home to The Klaxons), they are also putting their remixing skills to the test for New Young Pony Club, Au Revoir Simone and the Black Ghosts. Their single Homecoming is released in May with their debut album to follow in the autumn.
