The underwater Dome is the aquarium's largest and most spectacular exhibit. Two short tunnels lead into a spherical undersea room featuring 360 degree views into a 400,000 gallon tank filled with fish! Schools of large, silvery, open-water salmon flash in the filtered sunlight, large menacing ling cod lurk around underwater reefs, sharks swim slyly, ever on the look-out for prey, brightly-colored deep-water rockfish hover near crevices on or above the bottom, large sturgeon prowl the bottom for leftovers, and skates bank upwards against the current like miniature Starship Enterprises.
