Understanding Google's Algorithm: 15 Filters Google Uses To Rank Your Website February 26, 2009

In this workshop, JCI Member and SEO Expert Evan Carmichael will look at 15 filters Google uses to position websites and how you can use the filters to your advantage to come out on top.

He will show what prevents new sites from ranking, how to get new pages indexed quickly, why sites get penalized, how your competition might be sabotaging your webpage, and quick strategies to get your site to the first page in Google's results.

Evan will also introduce a new segment to the workshops called SiteClinic where at the end he will look at a website of one of the registrants coming to the event and will give specific SEO advice so that they can learn as well as everyone else in the room. If you're interested in being featured in the SiteClinic section please email Evan after you have registered and tell him little about your site and the challenges you're having. One person will be picked at random to be featured.

Website owners will leave with a list of practical suggestions that they can immediately implement to make more money online as well as get answers to their other online marketing questions. And, of course, all the money raised goes to a good cause!
