Each week "Under The Influence" welcomes one of America's most esteemed poets to the Magnet stage for a unique artistic experience. Part poetry reading, part improv show, the cast of Under The Influence draws inspiration from the poet's work to produce funny, moving, and intelligent scenes. The cast includes The Daily Show with Jon Stewart's Dan Bakkedahl, Magnet instructor Tara Copeland , James Eason, Matt Evans, Magnet instructor Rachel Hamilton, Melanie Hoopes, John Murray, and Magnet instructor Jean Villepique .
THIS WEEK'S POET: PAOLO JAVIER
PAOLO JAVIER is the author of 60 lv bo(e)mbs (O Books), and the time at the end of this writing (Ahadada), which received a Small Press Traffic Book Award. He edits 2nd Ave Poetry, and lives in New York.
