Under the Gypsy Moon May 9, 2009

From the first pulsing notes of the Spanish guitar to the last twinkling of finger cymbals, Under the Gypsy Moon is a swirling whirlwind of romance, music and magic, playing at Teatro ZinZanni from February 19 through June 21, 2009. One of the Northwest’s favorite Blues singers and original cast member Duffy Bishop returns to the Seattle tent as Madame ZinZanni, the Gypsy Queen. Joining her are the three Parisian clown brothers, Les Castors, the Clown Prince of New Vaudeville Geoff Hoyle, the breath-takingly sensual hand-balancer Elena Boradina, Canadian clown Joe DePaul, and rola-bola artist Bernard Hazen. Making their Teatro ZinZanni debut are local trapeze artists the sizzling hot Duo Madrona and ruby-throated diva Dana Johnson.
