Bring your lawn chairs and hear the influences that Africa has had on jazz, gospel, blues, R&B, and neo-soul. There will be activities for children and learning forums teaching West and Southern African cultures. Adults and teens can experience dance lessons from hip-hop to Chicago-Style Steppin. Also available: food, vendors, and community information. Don't miss the African Celebration Parade that closes each festival day.
