Type Matters: the Artistry of Bookbinding and Letterform December 23, 2012

Digital technology has had a two-fold affect on traditional forms of publishing and book design. On one hand the printed book may be on the way to becoming an antique form, while fonts have exploded in number and style with the advent of desktop printing. This exhibit will examine the expanded definition of the book while also considering the meaning carried by specific fonts utilized by artists in different media.
