** Please Invite anyone you'd like. The more the merrier!

Hey Gang, It's time for me to sadly leave my amazing age of 21 (oh how I've enjoyed it) and become 22. I'm sure I'll be making more money, enjoying life more, meeting more people, and having more fun as a 22 year old -- but 21 has such a nice ring to it, don't cha' think? Oh well, Que Sera Sera.

For my birthday, I'd like to raise money and awareness for an issue that I think is unrivaled in timeliness and importance, the campaign to make Barack Obama our next President. I want to highlight it's importance to me by centering my party around it. If you care to donate or pledge your support, I'd really dig it. You can do so at this link: http://my.barackobama.com/page/outreach/view/main/involver

You can read my evolving thoughts on it at my blog: http://tylerwillis.net/blog/obama-economics/

Here's the details:
On October 18th, a diverse crowd of music enthusiasts, Obama Devotees, and Personal/Professional friends will gather at 650 Sacramento to kick off a party. At 7pm the party will start and the beer and wine will start their desired effects. After everyone can get a pleasant atmosphere going, we'll enjoy a private concert by the incredibly talented Dave Lowensohn (of Speechwriters LLC, www.speechwritersllc.com ). Dave is an incredibly talented songwriter/performer and is someone I'm really lucky to call a friend. This concert will be followed by drinking and merriment and shortly after that the playing of DJ Z-Trip's new Obama mixtape while we socialize and dance. Dancing is not required, but highly encouraged. I'll be trying to organize a good place for an afterparty, one where we preferably can drink Obama themed Cocktails.

I've arranged some things for this party that I will call "Pillars of Awesome" that should make this a great event, I'll keep my eye out for more pillars to add, and will update here with new editions. (Got an idea of something we can add to the party? Group Art Piece? Music? Obama Wine? EMAIL ME!)

* Private Concert from Dave Lowensohn of Speechwriters LLC
* Post concert Listening Party for DJ Z-Trip's new Obama mixtape.

A note of Gratefulness:
The venue was graciously given to us by the fantabulous folks at Mr. (which is a membership based haircut club). I personally have a membership there as do several of my friends. I highly recommend going in for one haircut or shoeshine and seeing if you like it - they do good work and the rates are very reasonable. The people you meet their are great as well. If you do go check it out, tell em' I sent you! www.mrthebarbershop.com

Dave Lowensohn is also performing as a sign of his support. If you dig his sound, go buy a CD at his website or on iTunes, heck, buy 2!
