DanceWorks is pleased to present the world premiere of Two is company, from the acclaimed dance theatre troupe CORPUS. In this rich full-length work, Sylvie Bouchard and William Yong depict a whimsical couple who role-play history?s greatest lovers both in fiction and reality. With couples like Adam and Eve, Sid and Nancy, Bonnie and Clyde and Barbie and Ken, CORPUS entertains us with a peep show of the most famous names in history?s little black book. Two is company explores the passion, tragedy, romance and happy endings these couples exemplify, while showcasing the universally complex behaviours that inevitably arise between two lovers.
