In this double-bill of one-act performances, enjoy two Los Angeles-based artists performing their deeply moving personal works.
The edgy and funny The Watts Towers Project, by Roger Guenveur Smith, focuses on Simon Rodia, the Italian immigrant who spent thirty-three years building his monumental towers, only to walk away from them and never return. Taking Flight, by Adriana Sevan, tells the mystical, humorous, and poignant tale of friendship tested by a tragedy and the resilience of the human heart.
