TWANG BANG
A night of alt-country, acoustic-punk & dirty rock!
Featuring: Trainwreck Riders + Pine Hill Haints + Pops + Mahgeetah

TRAINWRECK RIDERS (SF)
It's about time this band got it's due. After 10 tens of playing the darkest hole-in-the-wall clubs around SF and across the country,
Trainwreck Riders are now headlining clubs like Cafe du Nord and Great American Music Hall. Inspired by music of their youth, Trainwreck Riders play music for themselves, part alt-country and part punk-rock, and somewhere in between. Sometimes loud, sometimes beautiful, sometimes catchy, and sometimes downright amazing.

PINE HILL HAINTS (Alabama)
The band describes their unique southern roots music as “Alabama Ghost Music” - which is a mix of (but are not limited to) bluegrass, folk, honky-tonk, classic country, gospel, Celtic, blues, rockabilly, rock and roll, and punk. The Haints were a big hit at the 2010 SF Bluegrass & Old-Time Festival.

POPS (SF)
Emerging from the gutters of San Francisco's lovely Stevenson Street @ 6th Street, from among all the piss, puke, porn, and scumbags, comes the busker punk of POPs. Groundbreaking and innovative? Hell no. Just a couple of blokes with guitars and a love for all things music - rock 'n roll, acoustic music, Americana, old-time jug bands, and Irish punk rock.

MAHGEETAH (SF)
Stripped down at heart, Mahgeetah follows the progressions of pioneers and melodies of contemporary heroes like Dr. Dog, My Morning Jacket, Kings of Leon, to name a few. Although never strictly committing themselves to any particular rock genre, they are bound by more sensitive melodic roots of music. They love diminished chords, easy beats and harmonies.
Pick up your very own copy of their brand new "State" EP now...it will change your life.
