Set in the exotic Far East, Puccini tells a tale of Turandot, an "icy hearted princess," who has shunned men for life and executed hundreds. A young, fearless Prince sees Turandot from afar and is smitten by her beauty. Will he be able to conquer her icy heart with fiery love? Will Turandot execute him?
