It's Tuesday again! (It seems like there's one almost every week these days... must be the good weather.) And of course, being Tuesday, that means that, at least on a normal Tuesday, it would be time for the McGrath's Tuesday Night Open Mic and Ladies' Half-Price Drink Spectacular.

But noooooo, we've gone even one better, just for you, my friend: tonight is the McGrath's Tuesday Night Open Mic and Ladies' Half-Price Drink Spectacular WITH SPECIAL GUEST! (Boy, I get so excited I can barely type.)

Just fifteen minutes from the City and most points in the East Bay, songwriters, singers, instrumentalists, music lovers and music listeners of all stripes & types are invited --- expected, even --- to come to McGrath's for the Tuesday Night Open Mic and Ladies' Half-Price Drink Spectacular WITH SPECIAL GUEST.

Open Mic signup starts around 8.00pm; the music runs until closing time. Solo musicians, duos, groups, bunches, crews and choirs are all encouraged. Play by yourself, or play with your crew, or just invite others to sit in with you. Extra musicians are always available to jam with; and the club keeps instruments available for use, including guitar, piano, percussion, and standup bass.

And it wouldn't be the McGrath's Tuesday Night Open Mic and Ladies' Half-Price Drink Spectacular WITH SPECIAL GUEST if we didn't give all females of legal drinking age half-price drinks from 8:00 until closing. Music... girls... guys... you can almost feel your computer vibrating with anticipation. Or maybe that's you! And who could blame you?

Especially when we have a special guest coming tonight: Guns for San Sebastian. (Check them out at www.myspace.com/gunsforsansebastian). The group will be performing from about 8:00 until 9:00, and then sporadically throughout the evening, as the music rises, the drinks flow, and the electricity mounts. Tomorrow, when everyone is talking about what a great time they had at the McGrath's Tuesday Night Open Mic and Ladies' Half-Price Drink Spectacular WITH SPECIAL GUEST, do you want to the only one to admit --- sheepishly, and with the appropriate sense of regret, shame and self-loathing --- that you weren't even there? OF COURSE NOT!!!

Tonight's host for the McGrath's Tuesday Night Open Mic And Half Price Ladies' Drink Spectacular WITH SPECIAL GUEST is the Jager Bomber himself, GG Tanaka, while our lovely bartender Kimberly sets up the spirits. So come on... call some friends, grab all the girls you know, and head on down to McGrath's for good music, high spirits, low prices, and lots of friendly fun. Schmooze a little, meet some new friends, drink cheap, play your stuff & listen to the best music that the Bay Area has to offer. Mcgrath's is THE place to be on Tuesday nights.
