Tu Fawning is a quartet from Portland, Oregon, the brainchild of singer-songwriter Corinna Repp and 31KNots bandleader Joe Haege. It includes Portland music scene veterans Toussaint Perrault and Liza Reitz. Tu Fawning grew out of Haege backing Repp on a European tour a number of years ago before it expanded into a quartet of busy multi-instrumentalists. The band plays "an intoxicating blend of moody, angular pop and rainy Pacific Northwest indie rock that brings to mind artists like Portishead, PJ Harvey, and Florence + the Machine." Allmusic.com. The band released its debut EP, 'Secession' in 2008, followed by 'Hearts on Hold' (2010) and 'Monument' (2012).
