Trio Ricochet + Lee Pembleton June 27, 2005

TRIO RICOCHET is dedicated to exploring post-fusion, the hybrid between the open-ended composition-based improvisation of post-bop and the rhythm and energy of fusion. These jazz forms are sewn together by the trio with a thread of world music. For Visual-Music, a work commissioned by Hirshhorn Museum & the Sculpture Garden of the Smithonian Institute, TRIO RICOCHET will be joined by Lee Pembleton, artist and sculptural musician.
