Tribute/Memorial Show (w/Dave Gursom) November 12, 2011

So some of you may have heard the very sad news of about a month ago, but if not, I'm truly sorry to tell you that someone really cool has died. If you didn't know her, Gina was (among other things) a nurse, a mother, a poet, and the lead singer and awesome frontperson of our band, Snatch and the Fingers. She died of natural causes after surviving many years of heart issues. Her passing is mourned by many, and this Saturday there's a tribute show in her honor, and to benefit her four amazing kids.

In light of the sad reason for this occasion, it's hard to shift gears and convey my excitement about the magnitude of the glory that is planned for this Saturday's event, but only such a show could be worthy of the Punx Kitten.

Snatch and the Fingers (featuring Dave Mello and Sarah Mello)

Playing with Dave and Sarah is quite a treat, and we open the show at 8 so that's the time to be there.
