Treasure Of The Sierra Madre November 27, 2005

In TREASURE, Bogie plays the tormented Fred C. Dobbs, one half of a down-on-their-luck duo who meet up in Mexico and go to work for a shady guy who, in the end, doesn't want to pay them. Things begin to look up for him and his buddy Curtin when they meet up with a crotchety old prospector (John Huston's father Walter) who convinces them that there's still gold to be had out in the hills. What they don't realize is that there's also hunger, thirst, bandits (?We don't have to show you any stinkin' badges!?) and wicked greed in those hills as well.
