Travis Heights Artists Street Show and Sale August 26, 2012

WHAT: Travis Heights Artists Street Show and Sale. Simply put, the merging of a traditional art show with the casual atmosphere of a weekend yard sale...right in your neighbor's driveway! Featuring original, displayable art by local artisans, both professional and hobbyists.

WHO: Your own brilliantly gifted neighbors who have a flair for the creative and a way of bringing art to life through painting, sculpture, ceramic, woodwork, mosaic, mixed media.

WHY: Your chance to meet local artists, hear how they've honed their crafts, and purchase authentic, one-of-a-kind art from the hands of the artists themselves. The goal is to have a monthly or quarterly rotating event that collectively supports Austin's truly creative entrepreneurs. Gathering right our own familiar streets keeps us connected, inspired and active in adding to our own growing art collections.
