On november 23, 2007, VU University Amsterdam organizes a symposium "Traveler in HCI" on the occasion of professor Gerrit van der Veer's farewell as professor of Interaction Design at the Department of Computer Science.

It promises to be an interesting day. Speakers at the symposium are: Donald Norman, Joelle Coutaz, Anton Nijholt, Reind van de Riet, and of course Gerrit himself. The complete program is attached. Venue of the symposium is the Auditorium in the main building of VU University, De Boelelaan 1105, Amsterdam.
