Join us if you are excited about a service-oriented career or ongoing volunteer work, especially if you are a:

High school or college student thinking about a career in nonprofit organizations (or starting your own)
Young professional, not currently working in a nonprofit, considering a career switch or becoming a board member

What

A one day introduction to nonprofit leadership that will include sections on:

The Big Picture: Nonprofits and Nonprofit Careers
Working with Community
Budgeting and Fundraising
The Key Cycle: Vision, Mission, Goals and Program Evaluation

Monday, January 16, 2012 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) from 8:45am-5:00pm

$25 (to help cover food and materials) OR a 300- to 500-word essay on the following topic:
