Tragically Hip: We Are The Same - North American Tour May 8, 2009

Canadian band Tragically Hip —often referred to simply as The Hip— from Kingston, Ontario consists of Gordon Downie (lead vocals and guitar), Paul Langlois (guitar), Rob Baker (guitar), Gord Sinclair (bass) and Johnny Fay (drums). Known for their energetic live performances of rock and alternative rock music, the band is noted for their improvisational renditions of songs. In 2005 they were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Their current single from their recently released album We Are The Same , "Love is a First", was released in February 2009 tops the charts.
