!! TOURETTES WITHOUT REGRETS !!
Message: Bringin? the Mutha!#$% Ruckus Since 99!

-----As the slam season reaches its feverish
pitch, the biggest slam in the Bay Area returns
NEXT THURSDAY APRIL 29 with a ferocious blend of
sound and fury, comedy and carnage you?ve come
to
love and gossip about. (Note: this will be the
May Tourettes moved up a week, and in June we
resume with our regular schedule.) This show
will
be a battle royale featuring a combustible
lineup
of savage champion slammers, raunchy surprises
and a freestyle battle that?s anyone?s game with
the return of the feared M.C ORUKUSAKI, on the
war path to regain his title from JAY LIKEWISE.
Mr. Likewise took the belt last show, after a
spirited bout with the fierce newcomer KODIAK,
the first emcee to ever take two emcee?s at once
in a THREE MAN BATTLE. Kodiak blazed his way out
of the sudden death round, taking out the man-in-
tights-and-bug-goggles COCKROACH a.k.a GABRIEL
the Angel of Light on his way. You?ll never see
another battle in the world where a man in a
diaper and a mic is a serious threat. Only at
Tourettes. All of them will be up in the mix
with
open slots for anyone who thinks they?ve got the
most below the belt punchlines to take the cash!

-----We?re honored to feature the U.C BERKELEY
SLAM TEAM, the four person powderkeg comprised
up
of MUSH, JIMMY TRAN, JOSE VADI, and JOSH BAGLEY.
They utterly obliterated all comers at the
College Slam Nationals, winning renown across
the
country and the CHAMPIONSHIP title at the sold
out Finals night two weeks ago with roaring
passion and gymnastic kicks. Come see why
they?re
viewed as the best performers to hit the scene
in
years. On top of that, add in premieres by the
hard hitting "sucker-punch spoken word" trio THE
SUICIDE KINGS (featured on HBO?s Def Poetry
Jam),
maniacal comic WILL FRANKEN (once described
as "Andy Kaufman on PCP"), mirth and mayhem by
the ILLBILLY CREW (Late Night with God Show), a
soon to be legendary dirty haiku bout between
CHARLES ELLIK and LUIGI (a.k.a the "crazy ass
old
man who wears a cooking pot in his head),
pranks,
insults, audience interactive mayhem and you got
a madcap show that?ll leave you breathless like
someone sucked your lungs out with a vacuum
cleaner.

----Also, for those at the last show: we
auctioned off a date (it went from 75 cents to
$60) with international slam champion SHANE
KOYCZAN and promised to film the date. And
believe me, you want to see it. We?re only going
to show at this show. You know you want it,
don?t
even pretend.
