Bowen Island
Bowen Island, British Columbia

Join Meet Market Adventures and other single outdoor enthusiasts, for a fun filled day of hiking, exploring & swimming on Bowen Island. Six kilometres away from the mainland rests Bowen Island, a popular local island desination filled with, cabins, deer, fish, bike trails and old growth trees. It is a perfect blend of small town comfort and beautiful outdoor spaces with the rugged coast line.

The stone laden beaches are popular spots to overturn rocks to find a cornucopia of sea life, an assortment of different coloured starfish, crabs and echinoderms. The interior of the island is home to Crippen, a large regional park circling the freshwater Killarney Lake.

We will hike this amazing park where we will stop for a short picnic on Killarney's wild shores. After a short rest we will continue to work on building up a sweat, only to look forward to a refreshing swim, on one of the islands many sandy beaches. Join us for this facinating journey and a fun workout!
