Using spectacular images from space probes and the world’s largest telescopes, astronomer and popular lecturer Andrew Franknoi will present the most intriguing future tourist destinations among the planets and moons in our cosmic neighborhood. No background in science is necessary for this non-technical tour. Among the stops will be the 4,000 mile lava channel on Venus, the towering Mount Olympus volcano on Mars, the tallest “lover’s leap” in the solar system – the awesome Verona Cliffs on the moon Miranda – and the mysterious ice-cracks on the moon Europa.
