424 Streatham High Road
London, England SW16

It's the spectacular opening event of this year's Streatham Festival. Free, fun and family focused day of music, art, stalls, food, crafts and shows.
With a children's carnival parade to start things off and even a giant whale to go inside in the paddling pool. There's lots of workshops where you can try things out - including art, drumming, capoera, ballet, hip hop and samba - and plenty to see and do. Take to the dance floor with the south London Jazz Orchestra, enjoy eastern European sounds from Mukka and afrobeats from Bukky Leo. Come along and see local talent perform and great acts from elsewhere live on stage, all mc'd by Streatham funny man Kevin Day.
Funded by grants from the Arts Council and Awards for All.
