Lead singer with Santana and Spangalang, Soulful Vocalist

7pm show $14 advance / $18 at the door

Tony Lindsay is internationally known as the lead singer for guitar legend Carlos Santana and he can be heard on such hit albums as Milagro, Shaman, Ceremony, Food for thought, Ultimate Santana, Multi Dimensional Warrior, and Supernatural where Tony received eleven Grammy’s.

In 1995 Tony recorded his first solo album titled "Different Moods". “The Message Is Love,” is Tony’s second self-produced album with smooth tracks “Why Can’t We Just Get Along,” the sensual ballad “That Old Familiar Flavor,” and “Family Reunion” a song that speaks volumes about family, and unity.

When not working with Carlos Santana, Tony is one of the four singers that travels with Dancing with the Stars (the tour), the road tour version of the popular TV Dance show. Tony has recorded with many major artists such as Narada Michael Walden, Tevin Campbell, The O’Jays, Al Jarreau, Curtis Mayfield, Smash Mouth, The Whispers, Shanice Wilson, Steve Winwood, Johnny Gill, Teddy Pendergrass, Aretha Franklin and Lou Rawls. Tony’s distinctive voice has blessed him with various musical projects including a duet with the grand songstress Patti Austin on her album “In & Out of Love.”
Tony also performs with his own band Spangalang; a Bay Area staple in northern California, Spangalang has opened for the likes of Curtis Mayfield, Tower of Power, Gerald Albright, Jr. Walker, and the Average White Band.

Tony has also lent his dynamic voice on several radio and television commercials with Mazda, Chevy, Hotwheels, Clorox, Long John Silvers, St. Joseph Aspirin, Albertsons, Dryer’s Ice Cream and Wendy’s to name a few. On the children’s television show “The Adventures of Kanga Roddy” Tony is the voice of “Tackle Bear.”

The third Tony Lindsay album is self-titled and can be found in stores at Rasputin Records, CD Baby, iTunes, ioda.com, Amazon.com and his website: www.tonylindsay.com
