PRESENTATION 1: Building Web 2.0 Apps with NetBeans

NetBeans is not as well known as some of the alternatives but has a strong and growing community following.

Sun's Masaki Katakai will introduce the Open Source NetBeans IDE for Web application development, and he'll have some great demos of the NetBeans JavaScript editor, jMaki, and everything else you'll need to know.

Masaki Katakai is a top engineer, top blogger and top community guy at Sun Microsystems K.K. His blog (Japanese) is at http://blogs.sun.com/katakai

PRESENTATION 2: The Blog is Dead. Long Live the Lifestream!
A quick primer on what a lifestream is and how:
1) it will help you be more productive
2) it will encourage more interaction with your audience
3) it will replace the idea of a "personal blog" within the next 3 years
PLUS - a demo of a new free and open source self-hosted lifestreaming
application, Sweetcron (www.sweetcron.com)
