Delivering a future shock of electrified party music, in-demand producer, remixer and selector Toddla T, along with his MC, Serocee, will light the fuse in a night of mindblowing variety and scope. He will be joined by another of the wildest talents in music, the Los Angeles-based producer Daedelus, performing his retro futuristic live show, that utilises his Monome controller device to create a mass of hip-hop / jungle rhythms and psyched sampledelics. Also featuring the unpredictable live energy of Tim Exile's improvised power electronics and Glasgow's rough diamond, Hudson Mohawke, defining the UK sound of warped hip-hop and crunked R'n'B electronics. Plus a special 20th anniversary event by UK free party pioneers and longstanding 'Futuresonic friends' DiY Soundsystem, creating a deep house party atmosphere all night long in the bar.

Toddla T & MC Serocee

Manabadman indeed. Young Toddla T's star has been firmly in the ascendant over the last 12 months, spurting out a succession of solo singles, remixes, and studio productions for everyone from Ladyhawke and Little Boots to Hot Chip and Tricky. Proud of his Sheffield roots and influences, Toddla has absorbed the Steel City's functional vibrations from the bleep ‘n bass of Warp artists LFO or Forgemasters through to the modern day sound of niche bassline, filtered it with an uncanny pop sensibility that has earned him a residency at Fabric and countless gigs across the world.

Daedelus

Daedelus is a creative force to be reckoned with. From his base in LA he has developed a completely idiosyncratic sound, indebted to more influences than we can name, fused into a swelteringly psychedelic and sun-drenched style which he manipulates in real time with the use of a Monome controller in conjunction with Max / MXP software. Working with everyone from Madlib to Erykah Badu to Sa-Ra, his credential's are undoubted. Expect a spectacular journey into the realms of beat exploration.

Tim Exile

Tim Exile is a white-hot property in the world of dance and electronica. With his background training as a classical violinist, Tim began exploring electronic production at the age of 12 and soon progressed to releasing music for Moving Shadow and Planet Mu. Studying for his MA in Electroacoustic Composition and working for Native Instruments expanded his tastes and style to increasingly merge more experimental and improvisational elements into his material. 2009 is set to be Tim's most exciting year yet with a landmark album for Warp records and a new and highly intuitive live set destined to become the stuff of legend.

Hudson Mohawke

Completing the lineup of pioneers and dancefloor auteurs, Hudson Mohawke is one of Glasgow's hottest beatsmiths. Hailing from the LuckyMe family of producers, artists and DJ's that includes Rustie and Jackmaster among their ranks, Hudson Mohawke was famously the youngest ever UK DMC finalist at the age of 15, and released arguably THE remix 12' of 2008 with his ‘Oops!' collection of edits. His recent ‘Polyfolk Dance' EP for Warp Records signifies new directions for UK music and hip-hop in general, operating at the crux of what Skream calls ‘Mongrel Music'.
