Tigard Library Hosts Stafford Birthday Poetry Reading January 9, 2010

The Tigard Public Library and Friends of William Stafford will sponsor a poetry reading to celebrate the late Oregon poet's birthday. Poets Bill Siverly and Michael McDowell will host readings in the Community Room on Saturday, Jan. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. by the following Oregon poets: Donna Henderson, Melanie Green, David Oates and Robert Davies. Siverly and McDowell are co-editors of "Windfall: A Journey of Poetry of Place in the Pacific Northwest."
