Folks Gone Traveling for work and pleasure is the theme of the Thursday Film series in July. The movies will be shown in the Williamsburg Library Theatre, 515 Scotland Street, every Thursday throughout the month. They are free of charge and tickets or reservations are not required. July 26, 10:30 a.m. - Special Time Rome Adventure (1962)
A love-starved librarian named Prudence (Suzanne Pleshette) finds her good girl mores sorely tested by Troy Dohahue and the amourous allure of Italy in this sentimental love story. Delmer Daves directed this scenic film which costars Angie Dickinson, Rossano Brazzi and Constance Ford. The movies ever present love song Al di La became a top ten hit in 1962.
