Thursday Afternoon Film Series - Lady Jane April 26, 2007

The April Thursday Afternoon Film Series presents depictions of British royalty. The movies will be screened in the Williamsburg Library Theatre, 515 Scotland Street at 2 p.m. every Thursday in April. The showings are free of charge and reservations are not required. The sad story of Lady Jane Grey, a naive girl in 16th century England who was used as a political pawn by her parents in their efforts to usurp the throne of England from its rightful ruler, Princess Mary. Helena Bonham Carter, Cary Elwes and Patrick Stewart star in this reality-based historical romance.
