Description
"This American Life" come to life, performing on stage in Chicago for the first time in four years. Host Ira Glass will be joined by some of the show’s contributors, including Sarah Vowell, Dan Savage and David Rakoff. Special musical guests Mates of State will be the house band for the evening.

The evening will be the premiere of the show's television adaptation for Showtime – a six-episode series to begin airing on the cable TV network on March 22.
