Third Thursdays in Downtown San Mateo 'Fashion Forward February' February 19, 2009

On Thursday, February 19th from 6-8 pm, live models will line the storefront windows of B Street in Downtown San Mateo for the second installment of "Third Thursdays."

The theme for February is "Fashion Forward" and will highlight everything from new Spring clothing and style trends to more avante garde runway inspired looks.

Models will primp and prepare at Lulu's Boutique before heading to Photography SF where the public can watch a live fashion shoot. The models will then head to B Street where they will display their styles in the various store's front windows.

"Third Thursdays" was the brainchild of PlayNTrade owner Misty Megia, whose vision was to create a regular destination in Downtown San Mateo where people could experience a monthly event spotlighting various cultural and artistic mediums.

The event will conclude with an artists reception at Gator's Neo-Soul Cafe on B Street.
