Calling all San Francisco Natives! Born or raised in San Francisco? Come celebrate your roots Friday September 15th at the Third Annual San Francisco Native Jamboree, a fun homecoming party. There are many San Francisco celebrations, but no other devoted to those born or raised in the beautiful City by the Bay.
Imagine seeing friends you haven't seen in years or running into an old high school sweetheart. Reminisce, reconnect and enjoy a cocktail reception, delicious sit down dinner, dancing, and entertainment with Kathy Holly and the Kathy Holly Top Hat Band and surprise guests. Masters of Ceremonies are television personalities, Fred LaCosse and Terry Lowry (a San Francisco Native). September 15th has been proclaimed San Francisco Native Day by Mayor Gavin Newsom.

This year's theme is School Days. Various Alumni groups have chosen school Kings and Queens who will be honored for their contributions to their schools or communities. There will be alumni attending from nearly all the San Francisco High Schools including Abraham Lincoln, Balboa, Cathedral School, Galileo, George Washington, Immaculate Conception Academy, Lick Wilmerdiing, Lowell, Mercy, Presentation, Riordan, Saint Ignatius, Saint Rose, The Hamlin School, the Schools of the Sacred Heart, and University. The largest alumni group of Jamboree attendees will receive a $1,000 gift for their association sponsored by Office Depot. George Washington and Galileo are currently running neck and neck for the prize.

Proceeds from a silent auction will benefit The San Francisco Conservation Corps whose mission is to help San Francisco's young people by providing job training and educational opportunities while addressing the community's needs.

Event sponsors include Pete Brannigan, Realtor Associate, B.J. Droubi and Company, Make It Happen, LLC, Monroe Personnel Service, LLC/Temptime, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Must be 21 to attend.
