Please join us on March 23, 2013 from 10 am - 4 pm! We will be conversing with Amy Seimetz after the Seattle premiere of ‘Sun Don’t Shine’. It will be located at the Stewart Stern Theater Screening Room (at SIFF Film Center). This is the closing day speaker for our spring session of bootcamp. Speakers subject to availability. Free and open to the public. *Seimetz is very prominent in independent cinema, producing and directing her own shorts and independent films. Back in 2008, she produced Barry Jenkins’ film ‘Medicine for Melancholy,’ which was nominated for multiple awards after being shown at South by Southwest and the Toronto International Film Festival. Not only does she direct, produce, and write, but she also acts. She gained critical acclaim after her performance in ‘Alexander the Last,’ and is known for acting in her own films.
