The Ypsilanti Community Band presents "From Grief to Rejoicing" October 22, 2009

The Ypsilanti Community Band presents "From Grief to Rejoicing," with two special features. In memory of (and dedicated to) Lorne Kennedy, charter and 30-season member of YCB, Alan Singer will perform his original alto saxophone solo with band. Later in the program, UM performance major Andrew Koeppe will perform a movement of the von Weber Second Clarinet Concerto. Announcement of the Band's Harold Goodsman Award will be made at this time. This is a FREE event!
